No support crew here!...no van to carry our gear, no cushy hotels to stay in after spending 6 hours a day on the on the road.....everything we need will be in our bags, on our bikes, from spare parts to camping equipment.
On Saturday the 27th June we’ll depart London, heading off on the first leg of our tour down to Portsmouth to catch the Ferry to Caen, France. Then comes the serious stuff....over the next 17days we will be heading directly south around 400 km / 250 miles through Le Mans and Tours before cutting south west towards the French coastline and Bordeaux. From here we continue along the coast line to cross the border into Spain as we reach San Sebastian.
Now the Spanish leg, coast to coast across the north following the Pyrenees and heading through the towns of Pamplona and Zaragoza all the way to the East coast.
18 days, more than 1,700km (1073 miles) through 3 different countries later, 3 mates with 3 bikes will, with a bit of luck, make it to our final goal.....Barcelona, for some well deserved Sangria and Tapas!!!!!
